About Me
I have recently moved to Fife from Cambridge, where I lived for twenty one years, developing a style in painting that has led to me being described as a "mood affected colourist". I paint in oil on board, gouache and ink, and acrylics. I also paint fabrics, furniture and small wooden objects such as bowls and boxes. "If it has a surface I can paint on it".

I was a long standing member of the Cambridge Open Studios and of the Cambridge Drawing Society, and I have exhibited widely in galleries including: The Old Fire Engine House in Ely, Cambridgeshire; The Mall Galleries in London; and Battersea Art Fair - where I am represented by the Quayside Gallery.

A great deal of my work is to commission and I paint murals both indoors and outdoors. Indeed, my sadly missed house in Cambridge was almost entirely muralled in a project that I began on the day I moved in and which I continued until I departed for Fife.

I have begun the great project at my new house/studio in Upper Largo, and am a new member of the East Neuk Open Studios. I will be opening my house to the public for the local Open Studios event at the end of June 2006, but visitors are very welcome at other times by appointment.

I also design hand-painted greetings cards and am a poet. I am looking for local poets to perform with, and would be delighted to hear from some.

I look forward to a productive life in the beautiful area where I now live.
